Orca 58 Relaunch: RMK Yachts Unveils 58m, 1,000GT Superyacht with 12m Beam

Orca 58 introduced: RMK Yachts revives its 58m project

RMK Yachts, a brand of Turkish builder RMK Marine, has relaunched a 58-metre superyacht project known as Orca 58. The design, which the yard describes as a “visionary superyacht project,” was publicly presented at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show after having been conceived several years earlier and with its steel hull already constructed. The relaunched concept is the result of a rework by Monaco-based Lagaria Yacht Design & Architecture.

Rather than discard the existing hull, RMK engaged Lagaria to modernise the exterior and interior concept while retaining the original structural work. Cüneyt Okcu, director of RMK Yachts, said the yard saw value in the hull’s precision and chose to build on that foundation to express RMK’s updated design and engineering direction.

Spacious 12m beam and 1,000GT hull offer US market appeal

Orca 58 features a 12-metre beam and an internal volume of approximately 1,000GT, dimensions RMK says make her about 30% larger than typical yachts in the same length bracket. That additional volume is intended to increase openness and flexibility in layout, attributes RMK believes will particularly suit the demands of owners in the US market.

Accommodation is planned for up to 12 guests and 13 crew. Key onboard features include a flush six-by-three-metre pool on the main deck aft, dedicated al fresco dining areas and a substantial beach club with fold-down bulwarks. Interiors are configurable to client requirements, with options such as a gym, sky lounge, cinema or spa, and the yacht can carry an eight-metre tender.

Orca 58 sale readiness: 24-month delivery and 5,000nm range

With the steel hull complete, RMK lists Orca 58 as available for sale with a delivery window of roughly 24 months from contract signature. Performance targets for the project include a maximum speed of 15 knots and an operational range of about 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, figures aimed at long-range cruising capability.

The relaunch positions Orca 58 as a near-term build opportunity for buyers seeking significant interior volume on a 58-metre platform. RMK Marine continues to advance other projects simultaneously, including a 65-metre explorer and the 49.9-metre Aries in collaboration with Milanese studio Hot Lab; interested buyers are being handled through United Yacht Sales.
