Description

Willard Marine was founded in 1957 to build custom fiberglass yachts. Its first trawler yacht, the Willard 36, was launched in 1961--three years before the first Grand Banks, 10 years before the first Marine Trader, and 28 years before the first Nordhavn.

The Willard Vega 30 was produced from 1972 to 1975, and was designed in-house by Hale Field. During those 4 short years, an incredible 110 Vega 30's were pulled from Willard molds. This 1973 model is in great shape for her age. She was kept on Lake Erie, since new, until 2019. That included 8 months a year in indoor storage. In 2019 she left the Great Lakes under her own power and navigated the intercoastal to Florida. She was then shipped by truck to Lake Texoma where she stayed until the current owner purchased her, and brought her to the Texas Coast. He then started to update her with hull and deck paint, Non Skid, electronics, upholstery, canvas, and much more.
